Halloween 2012

What I made for my son's teacher's and therapists.  I was surprised that a ball point pen ended up being the best way to mark the oranges.  A Sharpie might bleed through and acrylic paint was more time consuming and I wasn't sure if it would stay.

More Signs

I'm having a good time making these signs.  They are for my son's school.  The words are just the poplar wood, clear coated and the backings are colored stain.

Name Signs

I finally finished a couple of signs for some therapists/teachers at my son's school.  I think they turned out pretty good for my first scroll saw project.

Puzzle Quilt

This is my last project.....2 Autism Awareness quilts.  One for my son, and the other for his ABA therapist.

I've had people ask me if I can do weighted blankets.  The answer....yes, I can.  I'm thinking of posting a tutorial on it.......stay tuned.

Autism Awareness Day

Today is Autism Awareness Day. I made this bouquet of flowers to give to all the women who teach at my son's school (he's Autistic). The tubes are filled with chocolate covered sunflower seeds zip tied to the stems. I thought it turned out well. Now the tricky part will be the transport.
